Torerowa, Asobimo's roguelike dungeon crawler, is out now in open beta for Android
Not quite Darkest Dungeon, but still pretty dim

- Torerowa, the roguelike dungeon crawler, is out now in open beta for Android
- It's a bit like someone blended an anime and Dark & Darker
- Join three other players to overcome obstacles, monsters, and other adventurers
Asobimo Inc's Torerowa, the multiplayer roguelike RPG, is out now in open beta on Google Play. Pitting you and up to three other adventurers against the inhabitants of a massive dungeon, you'll have to contend not only with monsters and traps but also with other adventurers seeking to get out alive with the riches they've found.
With quick, 10-minute matches and up to 15 other adventurers to contend with, you play as treasure hunters exploring a variety of mysteriously-appearing dungeons called Restos. You'll get to customise not only the look of your character but what weapons and equipment they wield to maximise your chances of survival.
The best way to describe Torerowa, from what I've seen, is "What if Dark and Darker looked like an anime?" The design philosophy is pretty much the same, but the look and feel of this top-down roguelike owes a lot more to Diablo than it does to Escape from Tarkov. But for those purists wanting plenty of difficulty and other, just as greedy adventurers to contend with, this could be one for you.

While I never like to use the word unique (and won't start now), I have to admit Torerowa is at the very least unusual. As above, it's as if someone took Dark and Darker, pulled it apart and put it back together with your typical animes-like setting and characters added in, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
If you're curious about Torerowa, now might be the time to give it a go as the game is currently in open beta until August 30th on Google Play.
