Tony Hawk finally drops into UK iPhones

International skateboarding superstar Tony Hawk might have been rollicking about in the globe's best skateparks for a few months now, but he's finally made his way to the UK App Store.

This retro skating game is a rather nice port of the PlayStation classic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, complete with all 13 original stages, the 13 pro skaters and all the tricks and additional goodies from the original.

Controls are going to take a bit of getting used to, relegating shoulder bumpers and analogue sticks and buttons to different parts of the touchscreen. You can also choose an accelerometer based control scheme, to let you control your board just by tilting.

The wait might have been excruciating, but the game had a rather hefty price slash in the meantime. It can be yours for just £2.99 / $4.99 / €3.99.
