Here's an interesting fact for you. Did you know that in China, 'Tong' means 'gathering place' and is often associated with both community groups and secret societies, as well as organised crime? Well, absorb that info because Tong: Food Fight has nothing to do with that! In fact, this gross-out food humour-based multiplayer thing couldn't be more different.

Yes, that irreverent intro is because Tong: Food Fighter is irreverent as well. This PvP food fighter sees you battling it out on a 2D plane using, well, your tongue! Set in the 'grottiest fast food restaurants in town', if Tong: Food Fight doesn't manage to turn your stomach just a little, then nothing will.

At the moment, Tong: Food Fighter is sitting on the App Store ahead of an expected release before the end of the month. So it's a little difficult to know for sure just how it'll play upon release. But it certainly looks to be just as over-the-top as you'd expect from developer Miracle Tea Studios, who also made Ruya.

Don't waste food

Tong: Food Fight is also set to include plenty of great content to unpack. There are plenty of ways to customise your Tong and what appears to be a fully fleshed-out system for competition that'll make it far more than just a 'meme game'.

At the same time, I'd say we'll have to play it before we can decide whether or not this unusual (to say the least) framing device can carry out something like a long-term multiplayer experience. And of course, here's hoping we'll also get an Android release!
