Tiny Robots: Portal Escape is out now on Android and iOS
  • Upcoming 3D puzzler Tiny Robots is out now on Android and iOS!
  • Step into the shoes of robot Telly as he seeks to help his captured grandfather
  • Discover who kidnapped him and why, solving levels and defeating mega bots along the way

Frequent readers may recall late last month when we covered the then-upcoming 3D puzzler Tiny Robots: Portal Escape. And if its mix of distinctive worlds and cute robot characters had you intrigued you'll be excited to know that Tiny Robots: Portal Escape is out now on iOS and Android!

As I wrote before the core conceit of Tiny Robots: Portal Escape is that each level is laid out like an escape room, sometimes with different themes and set in alternative realities. You'll customise your own robot as you play Telly, who works to rescue his captured grandfather by solving these varied puzzles using a combination of hidden object mechanics and, well, mechanical solutions!

It's not just regular puzzle levels you'll have to contend with either. Whether it's the six action-packed minigames to take on or massive bot encounters, you'll need to use all your wiles and wit to succeed. Fortunately, with the help of a variety of mechanics, including crafting and customising to add new abilities, you're in with a chance.

Tiny Robots: Portal Escape is a difficult release to write about, mainly because everything about it is easy to surmise. There's no attempt to throw in multiple mechanics here, as what Tiny Robots offers is quick and fun! I can definitely see this being an all-ages favourite, although by the looks of it, Tiny Robots will offer plenty of challenges for adults too.

And with this new release being available in multiple languages (everything from English to Chinese) players all over the world can get to grips with it right now on Google Play and the iOS App Store!

Want to know why we think the way we do? Well, why not dig into the official Pocket Gamer Podcast and get a peek into my, Will and Catherine's oddball mindset right now?
