Addictive Geometry Wars style iPhone shooter Tilt to Livehas received a massive update that adds two whole new modes.

Gauntlet mode has you weaving through formations of dots like a bullet hell shooter, as you collect orbs to extend your survival time.

"Enemies waves will no longer relentlessly chase you. Instead, the dots work together to form an increasingly difficult treadmill course of smashers, battle axes, windmills, and more," says developer One Man Left Studios.

While Gauntlet throws out enemies altogether, Code Red mode throws them back in at a diabolically fast pace. This mode, described by the developer as "classic mode on crack" is crafted purely for Tilt to Live masters.

There are also fresh leaderboards and awards for the new stages. The update also teases even more modes, new weapons, and potentially iPad support (outside of standard pixel-doubling support, we presume).

Tilt to Live is available on the App Store now for £1.19 / $1.99 / €1.59.
