My first impression of the game was admiring the fantastic graphics, but I felt thrown into the deep end. The story was not explained, nor what I was supposed to do, so I was stuck for a while.

After getting past the first hurdle the story draws you in, and it reminds me of classic PC point-and-click adventure games. I do like it but they need to ease you into the story a little better.

The art style is great, a real treat to look at, and the animations are smooth and equally pleasing. The story is intriguing, however, the subject matter is quite vague but enough to pique my interest.

Some of the puzzle elements can be hard to see, especially when playing on low brightness. The hint system gives a good sense of direction for those who get stuck. The only downside is that I finished the entire game in two hours.

To sum up my experience of The Frostrune in one word, I would say awesome. It oozes personality and the puzzles are fantastically done and you get a lot of pleasure from solving them.

It's not all good, the inventory management system is not practical and the hint system is confusing. It should show you the right hint for the puzzle you are on, rather than having to scroll through all of them.

Despite these negatives, it takes nothing away from the overall feel, and I would thoroughly recommend this to any point-and-click fan.

This is a great point-and-click adventure and reminds me of classics like Myst. The music and graphics suit the Norse mythology theme which in turn guides you through the game.

The puzzles are intriguing and mind-bending which helps create the charm of the game. The only downside is that it's short. I loved it and would happily recommend, but I wish it was longer.
