Just as we suspected it would, High Voltage's alien frag-fest The Conduit HD has invaded Google Play and is ready take over your Tegra device.

In this port of the Wii first-person shooter, High Voltage tells the familiar story of one man's struggle to defend earth against a rapidly encroaching alien force.

Cast as this lone gunman - who just so happens to be a Secret Service agent - you must battle your way through 14 different types of alien (and human) enemies.

As you progress through the game, you'll learn to use a range of exotic weaponry, and master the mysterious but powerful glowing orb called the All Seeing Eye.

Though The Conduit was one of the better-looking titles on the Wii, High Voltage (which is also responsible for new iOS auto-runner Le Vamp) has given the visuals an additional polish for Tegra devices.

There's also the option to customise the controls to suit your play style, or even connect Gamestop's Bluetooth controller to recreate an authentic(ish) console experience.

You can download The Conduit HD onto Tegra devices for free now. Once you've completed the first two levels, you'll need to pay £2.99 / $4.99 to unlock the remaining seven.
