Movie tie-in shooter Terminator Genisys: Revolution has naked metal robots and explosions, out on Android
The SkyNet is falling down
Terminator Genisys isn't out in theatres until July 1st but it's mobile game tie-in is already out on Android. If you're interested, that is.
It's called Terminator Genisys: Revolution and it's by Glu Mobile. Of course it is.
If you look over Glu's mobile games catalogue you'll see it's mostly celebrities (Kim Kardashian: Hollywood) and violence (Frontline Commando).
So it makes perfect sense that Glu would make a game that combines both of those things as Revolution does.
Turns out that what Glu has brought to the grim future-world of Terminator is a third-person cover shooter with tap-and-hold controls.
You play as John Connor in the year 2028, hanging out with naked metal robots that explode a lot as you try to escape from the SkyNet prison camp.
Oh, and there's loads of different guns available, naurally - how else do you expect Glu to sell those IAPs?
If you want to give it a shot you can download Terminator Genisys: Revolution for free on Google Play.
