3DS beat-'em-up Tekken 3D: Prime Edition hitting UK shelves on February 17th

Namco Bandai Games's forthcoming 3DS brawler Tekken 3D: Prime Edition will debut in the UK on February 17th, 2012, according to a listing on the BBFC website.

This handheld instalment in the popular arcade fighting series promises a roster of more than 40 playable characters, and runs at an impressive 60 frames per second, even with the console’s 3D effect switched on.

What’s more, the game comes bundled with the 3D movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance. Okay, so it will probably be terrible, but it’s a nice bonus nonetheless.

The BBFC date for Tekken 3D: Prime Edition hasn't been confirmed by the developer yet, but with the Japanese launch already pegged for February 16th, it looks likely that 3DS owners worldwide will be able to take part in the latest King of the Iron Fist Tournament next February.
