Tears of Themis restyles the romance detective game's four male leads in ancient garb in its latest event

HoYoverse is ringing in the new year with a fresh event for Tears of Themis, letting players experience a blast from the past across the romance detective game. Titled "Blizzardous Threads of Red", the historical event will begin on January 12th and will offer players the opportunity to spend quality time with their male leads at the Blizzard Villa.

In the latest limited-time update to Tears of Themis, players can look forward to clearing the "Snowy Mountain" Main Story along with the Side Story tasks for bountiful rewards. Holly Stationery, an Event-Limited Badge, and R cards are also up for grabs.

Players can also score artifacts from the Villa Courtyard and explore the stories behind them. Based on the event trailer alone, it does seem like a thrilling new adventure as players take a peek beyond the veil to see glimpses of the past. In particular, Artem, Marius, Luke and Vyn will sport a wildly different look during the event, which will, of course, include heart-racing new scenes for players to unlock and pull from the gacha if the RNG gods are in their favour this month.
