Tactics Ogre on PSP to be released in Europe shortly after US

Square Enix has announced that Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together will be released in Europe on 25th February.

Arriving ten days after hitting US shelves, the game promises to re-invent the 1995 strategy RPG title of the same name.

With many of the same team behind the original involved, it looks to be a highly competent re-working. A brand new character growth system as well as other gameplay additions look to offer enough incentive for fans of the original to shell out for the game again. If you want a bit more detail on some of the new features found in the game, check out our news story from back in August.

Details of the deluxe version of the game, titled the ‘Premium Edition’ have also been revealed.

Alongside the game, this pricier package will get you a 44 page hardback artbook, an exclusive mini soundtrack CD as well as a voucher for 50% off a purchase of Vagrant Story on the PlayStation Network. How much more this edition will cost, though, is not stated.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Togetheris the second of Square Enix’s four announced PSP titles for 2011, with Lord of Arcana released on the 25th of January in the US and the 4th of February in Europe. Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy and The 3rd Birthday arrive later in the year, although exact release dates for these two are yet to be announced.
