Sword of Chaos is an action-packed mobile MMORPG out right now on iOS and Android.

You create your own character from a variety of different classes then head out into a vast dungeon to slay hordes of fantasy enemies.

There are also a few different co-op, PvP, and GvG modes if you fancy playing - and fighting - with others. You may need to level up your character to increase its power first though.

To learn more about Sword of Chaos, we reached out to Allstar Games to learn more about what sets it apart from similar mobile games, the challenges faced during development, and the importance of fighting as part of a team.

What makes Sword of Chaos any different to the other fantasy battle titles on mobile?

"The controls are really responsive, and the graphics - especially the skill combos - are of a particularly high standard."

Are there any differences between the iOS and Android versions?

"Both versions are the same."

What are you most proud of in the game?

"It probably has to be both the real time multiplayer PvP arena and the 20 versus 20 player guild wars.

"These will not only test your skills, but require you to work closely with your teammates on the right tactics This gives you a similar sense of challenge and excitement that MOBA gaming offers."

What were the biggest challenges you faced when developing the game?

"Without a doubt, server synchronization. Compared with similar games, our synchronisation is the best, so much so that the network is not slowed down even when you play 20v20 player battles.

"We spent over half a year carrying out research and ensuring that absolutely every aspect is highly synchronised.

"As long as your network conditions are good, you won't experience any noticeable lag whatsoever - like dodging a skill but still getting hit."

Where do you see Sword of Chaos headed moving forward? Will development continue on future updates?

"We'll be continuing to roll out updates which will include more PvE dungeons, new versions of the arena, PvP modes, new classes, and fashion items.

"Plus, we're looking to get more feedback from players so that we can tailor the experience to give them just what they want."

How important are the different outfits in the game, and do they affect the gameplay at all?

"Fashion outfits in general merely offer all kinds of unique appearances, which hardly affects gameplay balance."

How do the arenas you fight in vary - what makes them all different?

"The arena PvP battles include 1 versus 1 dueling, capture the flag, 4 versus 4 team tangles, stronghold seizes, and AI escorts."

How important is working as part of a team in the game?

"Warrior souls events, trial stages, and PvP arenas all focus on teamwork. They're an important method to win various resources and items in game.

"Then there's the GvG battles in which you fight with your guildmates."

Have you any plans to bring the game to any other formats, such as Windows phone or Steam?

"We have no plans to make this game for other formats right now."

Sword of Chaos is available right now from the App Store or Google Play.
