Nintendo Versus, Nintendo’s official competitive Twitter account, revealed this week that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is already smashing sales goals, becoming the best pre-selling Super Smash Bros. title ever, and the best pre-selling Nintendo Switch game, period.
Nintendo Versus marked the occasion with an accolades trailer that comes with some additional gameplay footage for those looking to soak up every bit of Smash Bros. Ultimate ahead of the game’s release in just a few days. Nintendo aims to keep the Smash Bros. hype going even after Ultimate’s release with a series of DLC that will introduce even more characters and stages.

Nintendo has had a strong fall season with the recent release of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, which sold a healthy three-million copies in its first week, according to Nintendo.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on Nintendo Switch on December 7.
