Super Slam Ping Pong on the way to mobile
Shots and info on Glu's toony table tennis title
We've written about Glu's Super Slam Ping Pong before, when it was originally announced, but we've not actually shown you any screenshots or details of the gameplay.
It's time to rectify that. The game is a table tennis spin-off from Glu's excellent Super KO Boxing, with a similar blend of special moves and comical cartoon opponents.
The game sees you playing table tennis through three circuits, with opponents including Master Wu Pong and Gnorman the "loveable gnome". Someone should tell Glu that gnomes are evil and wrong, without exception.
But anyway, the game involves timing your shots well enough to fill up your Super Slam meter, which then lets you unleash powerful smashes.
Meanwhile, there's an almost poker element to the game too, with each opponent having their own 'tells' that indicate where they're going to hit the ball next.
