Originally due for release this week in Japan, Super Pokemon Rumble has now been delayed until next month, according to Andriasang.

It's set to be the first retail Pokemon game for the Nintendo 3DS, so we are, of course, hoping that it will knock the socks off Japanese gamers.

The game is set to drop in the US later this year, but a European release date has yet to be announced.

Pokemon Company says that the game will now be released in Japan on August 11th, although it gave no reason for the delay.
