Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara has hinted that a new Pokemon title may be on the way soon for Nintendo 3DS.

In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Ishihara said that there's more Pokemon to come after the releases of Pokedex 3D and Super Pokemon Scramble.

Not only that, but it sounds like we may even be seeing something new before Christmas.

Ishihara implied that it won't just be 3DS owners who see new Pokemon additions, but DS owners too.

However, it's not clear whether this means there will be some kind of connectivity between a new game on the 3DS and an old DS game, or whether the DS will see something brand new.

Super Pokemon Scramble, or Pokemon Rumble Blast as the US version will be known, is due out later this month in Japan and in October for the U.S. No word on a European release as yet.
