[Update] Tactical card game Summoners Fantasy conjures up iOS, out now

Updated 11th August, 12:26 PM: Subtly and silently as a wisp of smoke, Summoners Fantasy has dropped on the App Store for free.

Next week comic book-obsessed Darknights is bringing Summoners Fantasy, an all-new TCG (tactical card game), to iOS next Thursday.

In the land of Alpha Terra where legends are told of the Master Summoner – a powerful being who sealed away Gods, Demons, and beasts into magical cards. In Summoners Fantasy, you play as a faceless Summoner, battling your opponents to win the right to be the next Master Summoner.

Typical of TCGs, there are a wide variety of cards, each of which has four numbers representing its strength, four different game modes (Normal, Veil, Elements, and Engaged), and a bunch of different tactics to use to assure your victory.

Summoners Fantasy is a free app but will, of course, offer the addition of in-app purchases to get items such as cards and in-game items.

Still on track for release on the 11th of August, we'll let you know when it drops on the App Store.
