I know, I know, you're getting an update list on a Friday so the world may as well be spinning backwards, right? Wrong! Though I didn't write the list up on Wednesday as per usual, we had some cracking updates from the likes of Stardew Valley, Unkilled, Death Road to Canada, and more that I simply couldn't ignore.

Besides, with Saturday and Sunday off, now's the perfect time to catch up on all of the new things your fave games have to offer. Unless you're working the next couple of days, of course… in which case feel free to sneak out and play these updates like the rebel you are. Ha, I joke – or do I? Yes (maybe).

1
Death Road to Canada

As Rocketcat Games announced on their Twitter earlier this week, the absolutely enormous HUMERUS update touched down and gave us yet another reason to return to the game. Though it came out on Steam a few months back, the HUMERUS update includes an Endless mode, the Overpowered Party mode, and the Quick Death mode which ramps up the difficulty. Well, those three modes plus TONS of tweaks, fixes, and additions.

DEEMO

To celebrate DEEMO's fifth anniversary, version 3.3.1 features a collaboration with Sdorica -sunset- where three more songs will be available to play for free, plus a couple more added in the game's paid song packs. iPhone X users will be pleased to know the UI now supports your phones, and there's a few tweaks and fixes here and there as well.

Dragalia Lost

Dragalia Lost's latest event is called A Wish to the Winds where you'll try to grab yourself a Wind Shrine over the course of play. Running from now until November 29th, you'll have a greatest chance to get the following dragons, adventurers, and wyrmprints: Louise, Garuda, Gentle Winds, and Gale of Beauty. If you're confused by all of that, you can check out more detail right here.

Fortnite

  • Platform: iOS/Android/Switch

A couple of things have gone down in Fortnite this week. Not only is there a deadly new weapon, the Mounted Turret, there's also the limited time event, Food Fight. Whether you're on the side of Durrr Burger or Pizza Pip, you need to secure your restaurant fortress and then try to steal the mascot of your enemies first.

Pokemon GO

From now until November 27th, Trainers will be able to take part in the Hatchathon event where certain Pokemon originally from the Sinnoh region, like Rhyhorn or Magby, will be available from 2km eggs. You might also be able to grab yourself more Kanto region Pokemon to celebrate today's release of Pokemon, Let's Go: Pikachu/Eevee!.

Rise of Civilizations

This update's a pretty chunky one, so I'll just touch on the basics here. The Talent Tree has had a total makeover, giving it a more streamlined appearance and strategic depth. Though all commander talents will be reset with this update you'll still get the same number of talent points as before, so don't worry too much. Besides that, Alliances has had a major tidy. New structures have been added to aid in governor resources. Resource Centres have huge resource reserves, but you can only construct one type of centre at any given time, so think wisely.

Stardew Valley

In keeping with Chucklefish's excellent response to updates and fixes, this week's updates have fixed a few major issues. These include fishing and silo bugs, crashing and stalling at the end of the night, and creating auto-saves so you can pick up where you left off even when you've closed the app. A few game-changing additions include options for virtual joystick and attack/action buttons, a better response when using auto-attack, the ability to customise your on-screen controls, and MFi controller support.

UNKILLED

As with most of MADFINGER Games' game updates this latest one for UNKILLED is nothing short of huge, featuring more additions and fixes. Most notably, the long-awaited co-op multiplayer is here, meaning you can now survive a horde of the infected with a pal, hurrah! With the new mode, you've got new environments for said mode, the new 'Stormbringer' weapon, and a skin-crawling mutated spider enemy. Ew.
