Slippery new update clamps onto Squids Wild West

Law-abiding octopi everywhere had best be reaching for their six-shooters, because a new update has just ridden into the Squids Wild West town. Or swum in. Or slithered. Oh, who knows.
In the latest update to The Game Bakers's Silver Award-winning cephalopod-based strategy-RPG, there's a tasty new chapter (featuring additional maps and adventures), a "spectacular" new Squid member called Magnus, and a secret quest to find four helmets.
You may well need Magnus for the new Pro Mode, by the way, for the difficulty level in this mode has been ramped up considerably. The reward for completing Pro Mode, though, is a place on the in-game Hall of Fame. Marvellous.
Owners of an iPhone 5 will appreciate the fact that Squids Wild West has been optimised for their handsets, while everyone will appreciate the fact the dev has squashed some bugs and included the option to reset a game.
Squids Wild West is available on the App Store now as a Universal app for £1.49 / $1.99. The game's soundtrack, meanwhile, has recently been released on iTunes.
