Upcoming Space Invaders Infinity Gene iPhone update adds side-scrolling mode

Just like how Space Invaders Infinity Gene evolves and changes as you play through the game, from simple '80s arcade romp to crazy bullet hell shmup, Taito’s constant updates and downloadable content keep the evolution rolling even once the game is finished.
Take the newest update, which will be hitting the App Store very soon. A new side-scrolling mode will forcefully grab the game and rotate it to mimic the change from vertical to horizontal shooter. It also comes packed with a new ship.
The update will also give you the ability to buy more ships through in-app purchases, along with theme packs based on retro Taito shooters like Darius, Metal Black, and Night Striker.
Taito says the free update will be with us "very soon", so keep your eye on the App Store or iTunes. If you don't have Infinity Gene yet, it's available for iPhone and iPod touch for £2.99 / $4.99 / €3.99.
