Upcoming anime RPG Soul Tide opens up pre-registration

Developer LemcnSun announced the opening of pre-registrations for their upcoming dungeon-crawling RPG Soul Tide. The pre-registrations are open right now and can be found on the game's website. LemcnSun recently held a closed beta test and developed a relatively solid fanbase for the game through the anime art style and unique gameplay.

Soul Tide is a dungeon-crawling RPG that involves using and upgrading a large cast of anime characters called Dolls, and while that makes it sound much like a trillion other mobile titles, the actual gameplay of this one switches things up a fair bit. The world of the game is based around summoning forth these Dolls to fight back against an evil witch who has caused your world to break out into an all-out war. The perspective through which you will do battle is a first-person view, while the dungeon you will navigate is a connected series of encounters looked upon from above. Think Girls Frontline or Arknights campaign-style navigation, mixed with unique and fresh first-person combat played by tapping your party member's cards and using their abilities in between auto-attacks. Your party members will also be using ultimate attacks, which will display themselves in a very flashy cut-in style cutscene.

Alongside that main portion of the game's core loop, there are some other interesting aspects of Soul Tide as well, such as the house customization aspect, which will allow you to build, decorate, and upgrade a home for the Dolls. The game also promises a dating sim aspect as well, allowing you to slowly build up your relationships with your Dolls by giving them gifts, which will lead to unique cutscenes and events where you will grow closer and learn more about the various members of your party.

If you're looking for something that takes the hero collector anime RPG genre and attempts to put a unique flair to it, Soul Tide might be the game you're looking for. If you take the time to pre-register, which can only be done on the website mentioned above, you will unlock some special rewards when it launches. Soul Tide is set to launch at an undetermined point this year.
