Soul Sacrifice release slips to 2013, but compensates with a new gameplay trailer

The mysterious saga of the upcoming PS Vita gorefest, Soul Sacrifice has been an interesting one to follow.

Since images of the game mysteriously surfaced back in April, we've learned that the game will support up to four players, will come to both Europe and North America, and is bloody enough to satisfy the most discriminating horror movie fan.

We've also learned, sadly, that the game will not be released in Japan until the spring of 2013.

Creator Keiji Inafune broke the news at Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, but soothed the sting of the later release date with a fresh new gameplay trailer.

Inafune did not mention a release window for Europe or North America, but we will update you with those dates when they are available.
