Sonic The Hedgehog 4 confirmed for iPad: playable at E3

It was a case of 'do you want the good news or the bad news' last week when Sega confirmed Sonic 4 for the iPhone, but delayed the release until later this year.

Now according to IGN, there is also a separate iPad version in the works, which will see the blue hedgehog's latest antics on the big touchscreen.

Sega has also confirmed that both the iPhone and iPad versions will be available to play at next month's E3 in Los Angeles.
