Update on June 1st at 16:31: Sky Force Reloaded is now live on the App Store and Play Store for free. It looks terrific and I'm sure it'll be a blast to play.

We've talked about Sky Force Reloaded's upcoming release but we weren't sure when we'd get to play this gorgeous shoot-em-up.

Not to be mistaken with the Java version that came on feature phones, Sky Force Reloaded is a sequel to Sky Force 2014, Infinite Dreams' reboot of the franchise.

This one features a brand new card system that is meant to make every new run quite different from the previous one.

It's going to launch initially with eight levels and will retain the same free to play model of 2014. Look it for it on your App Store on June 2nd.
