Skullgirls Encore receives name change, cross-buy, and cross-play on PS Vita

Skullgirls Encore is now officially known as Skullgirls 2nd Encore on the PS Vita.
This news is according to a PlayStation blog post from Lab Zero Games CEO Peter Bartholow.
Bartholow explains that the name change applies to both the PS Vita and PlayStation 4 versions.
Skullgirls 2nd Encore, which doesn't have a release date yet, will be cross-buy and cross-play compatible across all PlayStation platforms.
It will also feature characters, game modes, and more not included in the original Skullgirls, and will run at a smooth 60 FPS.
We'll let you know once we hear word of a price or release date for Skullgirls 2nd Encore.
