Ski Three is an intriguing mix of puzzling and skiing, out now on iOS

Ski Three is apparently the world’s first match-three endless runner. And it’s got skiing in it. Which is fitting because it’s winter where I am now. I mean it’s unlikely I’m going to ski, but still.

The game has been developed by Cape Guy, and features a special soundtrack from Laurence Chapman who was the composer for everyone’s favourite game 80 Days.

Basically you need to match things like log cabins and boulders in groups of three to create a path for your skier to work her way down. Which sounds pretty cool.

The game looks like an interesting blend of puzzling and skiing, and it’s all presented in proper lovely scratchy hand-drawn graphics.

Ski Three is out right now on the App Store and it won’t cost you anything to download it. And maybe you should.
