NA only, European release still pending

Bouncy brawler Senran Kagura Burst to pop out on the eShop this month

You've probably made up your mind by now as to whether the foxy boxing brawler Senran Kagura Burst has a place in your gaming library or not.

Billed as "an over-the-top side-scrolling action title with a sense of humor", Senran Kagura Burst has two big things going for it: action and fan service.

Oh, it also has a release date for North America - November 14 - when it'll be available as a digital download from the eShop for $29.99. There's no physical release planned for the states, but there will be one for Europe.

In Senran Kagura Burst, you take control of elite group of five female ninjas-in-training and guide them against their rivals from the Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy.

As we reported earlier, Senran Kagura Burst is a combination of two previously released games - Skirting Shadows and Crimson Girls - both notable for the fact that you'll lose clothing instead of HP as you take damage.

No, seriously.

Like Ikki Tousen or Soul Calibur IV, your female shinobis will lose parts of their outfits as they take hits, leaving them in tattered rags and ultimately their underwear (ahem, we're sorry, bikinis) when they're in danger of being knocked out.

Also, the game's in full stereoscopic 3D. Just thought we should point that out.

We'll keep you updated with a date for the European release just as soon as we have it. Until then, check out the game's just-launched website for more information.
