Updated 11th August, 08:20 AM: After a bit of a hesitant start, Satellina Zero is now out. Having received Pocket Gamer's very respectable Bronze Award, check out the review of the game here. Android users will have to wait a little bit longer.

Download the game now free from iTunes for your iPhone and iPad.

Complementary to our article earlier this week on the Satellina sale, we recently received word that its successor Satellina Zero will be coming to mobile devices in the next couple of weeks.

Satellina Zero is a one-finger arcade game that sounds similar to its predecessor, but is actually supposed to be played completely differently. Instead of boasting of its longevity, developer Moon Kid has stated that it's meant to be played in short bursts – perfect for playing on public transportation then, I guess.

Just to confuse you a little bit more Satellina Zero is actual a 'prequel' of sorts to Satellina. Rather than continuing with Satellina's colourful and contrasting design, Satellina Zero takes an almost futuristic approach as its background is stark-black against lines of colourful 'code'.

The game is due to come out on August 10th (next Wednesday) on iOS, and August 17th on Android. We'll let you know the moment it drops on either platform.
