Germany-based Robot Cake is set to launch their delicious little game Ruins Ahead next week on iOS and Android.

Using similar mechanics to Lemon Jam's upcoming title Lost Maze, Ruins Ahead is a cleanly designed and fluid casual action game. You need to make your way through endless ruins, collecting artefacts, coins, and dodging vicious traps.

The game will also test you three-dimensional thinking, however, as you rotate the ruin and carve out a path for yourself before the floor collapses behind you.

The minimal design very much works in Ruins Ahead's favour. With over 50 characters to collect, from a wizard, to the devil, to Mr. T, the game certainly doesn't lack in terms of charm.

Coming on the 17th August to the App Store and Google Play, we'll let you know the moment the game officially drops.
