RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 gets ported to iOS without any microtransactions to drag it down

Here's a pleasant surprise: an iOS port of the 2004 PC game RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 has just appeared.

Don't groan just yet. Yes, last year we did endure the awful, awful RollerCoaster Tycoon 4, which was dragged down by microtransaction abuse. We gave it a two out of 10 in our review.

But maybe the series can be redeemed as this iOS version of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 may prove. For starters, it's not free to play and it has no microtransactions at all.

All it does have in terms of changes from the original is a touchscreen-friendly interface and, obviously, touch controls.
