Silver Award-winning iOS racer Retro Racing swerves onto Android
New lease of life
Developer Mr Qwak has informed us that Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning iPhone and iPad racer Retro Racing is now also available for Android devices.
For those of you who aren't familiar with it, Retro Racing is a top-down title that was inspired by classic Amiga games Nitro and ATR (both of which were developed by Jamie Woodhouse, a.k.a. Mr Qwak).
In Retro Racing, then, you'll find yourself skidding, sliding, and spinning around each obstacle-filled track that you come across. You can collect power-ups along the way that will improve your chances of earning a podium finish.
You can download this Android version of Retro Racing for free, though you'll have to splash some cash on a single £1.49 in-app purchase if you want access to more than two levels and three cars.
There's no online multiplayer on board, by the way, but you can face off against your buddies in fast-paced split-spreen races.
