We'll have some hot, hands-on Real Racing coverage for you very soon, but for the moment we thought it'd be worth taking a look at the news trailer Firemint has just put out.
The immediate onscreen response of the steering wheel and the HUD-less display make for a beautiful looking game, while the scenery and cars are almost photo-realistic.
The genetic algorithms controlling the CPU driver's intelligence is quite tangible in the video, as they muscle for elbow room on the track and drift over the verge as they look for position on the corners.
You can almost pity any other driving games currently on the App Store, as it looks as though they're about to be made obsolete.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
