Firemint's Real Racing to get six-player wi-fi multiplayer update
Better start making more iPhone-owning friends
The local wi-fi multiplayer aspect of Firemint's Real Racing is easily one of the hottest aspects of the game, and we thoroughly enjoyed testing it out just before the game was released.
Speaking to TouchArcade during the closing hours of Apple's WorldWide Developer's Conference, Firemint CEO Rob Murray revealed that an update to Real Racing will soon expand the multiplayer option to include an impressive six players.
The racing game itself is capable of including six on-screen cars at any one time, powered using genetic algorithms to make them more like human players.
Assuming you have enough iPhone-owning friends, the new update should mean it won't require clever artificial intelligence any more, as real life human intelligence (and, what's more fun, human unintelligence) will be queuing up at the starting line.
