Throw your friends to the apocalypse in Rapture - World Conquest's new multiplayer
Apocalyptic showdown
Tundra Games has rolled out an update for its fast-paced strategy game Rapture - World Conquest that adds multiplayer.
Yes, that means you can now fight against three other friends online or locally for domination of the world.
So it goes, you each play a god who has to lead a civilization to conquer the globe. If you don't, then your people will be wiped out by the apocalypse. The winner sees their population ascend to heaven.
You meet this goal by advancing your people through the ages (stone age, iron, age, middle age, and so on), through research, farming, and bolstering your military.
You also need to invade other countries to claim them from your enemies.
It's all managed through taps and drag-and-drop commands. And matches last no longer than five minutes - think of it as Civilization in fast-forward.
You can purchase Rapture - World Conquest for 79p / 99c on the App Store if you haven't yet.
