Prince of Persia Zero swings onto mobile

The Prince of Persia got such an impressive 3D makeover when Ubisoft took him to the PlayStation 2 it's easy to see why we quickly forgot about his 2D origins. But the mobile versions of his Babylonian high-wire antics have always retained that classic style, and without ever sacrificing the superbly atmospheric and dynamic gameplay. Indeed, he seems to consistently land himself Silver Awards, so any new addition to the franchise gets our toes tingling with vertiginous excitement.

His latest outing, entitled Prince of Persia Zero, is the official adaptation of the imminent super-console version and adds an extra element to the gymnastic gameplay by requiring you to work closely with the mysterious Elika to perform your free-running stunts.

Prince of Persia Zero promises to let you ride dragons, swing from ropes at dizzying heights and battle multitudes of enemies in expansive environments filled with traps and secrets as you attempt to thwart a nameless evil. As you can see from the screenshots this all fits the nigh-on faultless profile that's won the Prince so many Silvers, so make sure you hit the 'Track It!' for more Persian news as it arrives.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
