New Pokemon Black/White 2 DS details revealed: 2 new trainers, new rival, and more

Japanese magazine CoroCoro Comic has published several new details of Game Freak's upcoming monster-filled Nintendo DS sequels Pokemon Black/White 2, including images of the games' all-new trainers.

The Black/White 2 storyline takes place around two years after the events of the original Pokemon Black/White titles. Your journey begins in the south of Isshu in a town called Hougi City, which houses both a Pokemon Center and a Trainer School.

The upcoming games feature two new trainers - one male, one female - and a new rival character, as well as some new Gym Leaders (a girl named Homika and some dude who dons a swimsuit).

The Black/White 2 Pokedex features enough room for 300 colourful and crazy critters, which we presume won't be easy to collect.

These new Pokemon games are slated to hit Japan this June, before wandering into the Western market sometime in the autumn.
