Plants vs Zombies turns 7 and celebrates with new levels and costumes

2016 seems to be a year of big birthdays and Plants vs Zombies is no exception.
On May 5th, the franchise turns seven years old, and to celebrate Popcap are adding a ton of extras to Plants vs Zombies 2 over a ten day period.
Among the extras, players will receive new costumes for their brain-dead buddies, as well as birthday-themed levels with plenty of balloons and cake.
Players will also see the return of the Premium Plant, Jack O'Lantern. A ferocious petal-faced flamethrower that causes maximum damage.
2016 has already proven to be a big year for the franchise with the release of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and the imminent worldwide release of Plants vs Zombies: Heroes
Expect the new update to go live from tomorrow and run until May 15th, so make sure you've got PvZ 2 installed ready.
