Pikmin Bloom Journey returns for 2025 with in-person and virtual events

• Pikmin Bloom is set to receive another edition of its Journey event
• Fans can attend in Sendai from September 20th to the 21st for a live event
• Meanwhile, you can play remotely from September 26th to the 28th in a new global version

Live events have become something of a cornerstone of Niantic's AR releases. No doubt because, post-pandemic, it helps to get people out and about once more to enjoy the fresh air, and play stuff like Pokémon Go and Pikmin Bloom. In fact, Pikmin Bloom's Journey event has proven so popular that it's returning for a 2025 edition!

The Pikmin Bloom 2025 Journey event will take place in multiple parts. The first will be an in-person event in Japan that those of you who happen to be around Sendai from September 20th to the 21st can attend.

However, for the rest of us, you won't need to miss out! Because a week afterwards, from September 26th to the 28th, the Pikmin Bloom Journey: Challenge Everywhere event will take place. This offers many of the same rewards as you'd get in Sendai, but with the added benefit of playing anywhere!

Blooming all over the world

As for those rewards, what's included? Well, you'll be able to nab a Pikmin Bloom Journey Challenge Anywhere Rosette Decor Pikmin to mark the event, as well as an exclusive in-game hoodie for your avatar as well as one of seven options for a sun visor.

Of course, to access these goodies, you will need to purchase a ticket. But doing so will let you complete the special missions for the event and earn the above rewards that you'll be able to show off to commemorate your participation in the event!
