Overdox, the action game from Haegin, has received a new update on iOS and Android devices, bringing with it a whole host of new additions and changes.

The v2.0.0 update for Overdox introduces the Awakening System, where you can upgrade your equipment rated Normal to Epic by using TP of the subject equipment and awakening modules. Upon awakening that item, the equipment will receive new abilities, stat upgrades, and unique visual effects.

There have also been four new types of Special Skins added to the game. These include Discepolo, Black Dog, Infantry, and Ten Kings of Hell for Overdox’s female characters in an attempt to diversify their appearances a bit. Additionally, each of these new skins have a unique ability which will support you in combat.

Alongside the new content, Overdox has also received a huge balance adjustment, with changed rules of sharing locations in Downtown, buffed devices, status effects, skin and drone effects, and much more. Haegin promises this will make it feel like you’re playing a whole new game.

If you’re unaware, Overdox is a futuristic close-quarter action game where you and eleven other players battle and survive until there’s only one left standing. The game is fast-paced, familiar to fans of MOBA and Battle Royale fans but it has a unique all-melee combat system. You can collect and build your characters by combining matching equipment for further strategy when not battling in the arena.

Overdox is currently available in ten languages with four global servers as it expands. It is available to download on the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android, where it is a free to play title containing in-app purchases.
