PC-exclusive Octodad may get a sequel on iPad

Not a done deal by any stretch though

PC-exclusive Octodad may get a sequel on iPad

Octodad, a popular third-person adventure for PC, is in with a chance of getting an iPad sequel according to developer Young Horses.

Although Octodad 2 is still only confirmed for PC release, the indie studio is using Kickstarter to croudsource funding for the sequel, and says it would "like to do a console release" and an "iPad port" if support is generous enough.

The original Octodad landed you as an octopus-in-human's-clothing, trying to pass himself off as an honest family man. Masquerading as a homo sapiens is actually pretty tricky - we tend to take basic motor control for granted.

The sequel has only just been announced, and no release date has been provided. With the priority on the PC version, any iOS release is likely to be some way off yet.
