Ninja Chowdown lets you race across town to save a stolen donut, out now on Android following its iOS release

Abylight Studios and Dummy Dojo have just unveiled a tasty treat for Android gamers - Ninja Chowdown is now available to download on the Google Play Store. The adorable endless runner features vibrant pixel art aesthetics and a compelling main protagonist with the noblest quest ever - protect a certain donut at all costs.

In Ninja Chowdown, you follow the tale of brave hero Donatsu in Dough-jo Donuttery, a donut shop-slash-training dojo where Donatsu practices the art of resisting sinfully sweet temptation. Of course, things take a turn for the worse when Sushi Sam steals the Doughnut of Ultimate Knowledge. Donatsu then embarks on an epic quest to retrieve it from the Traveling Rollnin's leader, fighting off baddies like Battle Sushi Sam, Barbacarian Biff, and Earl Grey along the way.

From the embedded trailer above, it seems you'll be zipping and zapping here and there across different locales in stunning pixel environments. Donatsu himself is an absolute joy to watch, as the runner brings a whole lot of good vibes and food-themed humor for fans of puns (and fans of food in general).

"We at Abylight Studios are thrilled to have been able to work closely with this wonderful team of devs," says Irina Moreno, Marketing Manager at Abylight Studios, from the game's official press release. "Not only to have such an amazing game as Ninja Chowdown as a result, but also because it is the first game we are publishing on Android, which is a very special moment for us as Publishers and a bright future after our rebranding."

Ninja Chowdown is available to download on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game, but you have the option to remove all ads at just $3.49.
