It's taking a while to get 2008 started when it comes to game releases but with Advance Wars: Dark Conflict, at least we have our first critical hit of the year.

Things really kick off in February however with the much anticipated DS version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (the PSP version seems stuck with a March release). At least the bulging bag of quality PSP role-playing games continues to expand, what with the widescreen versions of Final Fantasies I and II out next week.
