Launch explosive vegetables at gelatinous blobs to defend Mr Peng's home in My Mini Castle
As free as can be
Mr Peng is a bit of a clutz.
Not only has he built his castle out of wood, but he's also forgot to buy cannonballs to defend it from the mischievous blobs that are attacking it.
Yes, this is the setup of yet another tower defence title. But, hey, at least My Mini Castle is cute and stuffed with plenty of humour.
Admittedly, the game starts off a little slower than it should, but it soon picks up pace.
By touching the ground with your finger, you can launch the explosive vegetables - serving as proxy cannonballs here - to kill off the encroaching enemies.
You will run out of veggies, though, so you'll have to tap the castle door to invite Mr Peng to come and collect the vegetables that the enemies leave behind.
That cycle represents the core gameplay of My Mini Castle, though the adorable animations and satisfying sounds make it fairly entertaining.
What will keep you returning over and again is the unlocking of upgrades with the coins you earn for beating back waves of enemies.
Tougher materials for your castle; better vegetable ammo; and four worlds with new and more challenging enemies should all be in your sights.
You can even dress Mr Peng up. If you really wish.
My Mini Castle is free to download on the App Store. And, nope, no IAPs here. Yay.
