Monster Hunter Outlanders to open pre-registration for its second closed beta test
Headed out
- Monster Hunter Outlanders is set to launch its second closed beta test
- And pre-registration for the test is now open until April 21st/22nd
- The latest test promises an even greater glimpse of what to expect in the final release
As we head towards the weekend (or in the UK, the Bank Holiday Weekend, woohoo!), it's time to look at some more upcoming launches. And while Monster Hunter Outlanders isn't set to officially release anytime, you know what is coming? It's the second closed beta test! And you can pre-register for the CBT on both iOS and Android as of today.
The second recruitment phase is slated to run until April 21st/22nd (depending on your timezone, with sign-ups now open via the official Monster Hunter Outlanders site. And this second closed beta is set to give an even greater glimpse of what we can expect in the final release.
To start off, there'll be a new roster of adventurers to try out, as well as new monsters to battle, such as the new Radiant Species exclusive to Outlanders. That's not even including all the classic elements of Monster Hunter, such as exploring the vast wilderness and enjoying some savoury treats at the campfire.

Grand closing, grand opening
I'll be interested to see more of what Outlanders has to offer, although I'll probably be waiting for release to give it a go, as I want to see what it's like in its fully finished state. This latest beta does promise to offer plenty of exciting new content for those who want a sneak peek, however. Including hints at some new mystery lurking in the form of a massive silhouette against the skyline. Whether that proves to be a new monster to battle or something else entirely, though, is something you'll just have to find out for yourself.
