Spend countless hours creating the perfect deck in Might & Magic: Duel of Champions for iPad

Ubisoft's Might & Magic: Duel of Champions, which was soft-launched in Europe late last year, is now available to download and play in the US.

As you might have guessed, Duel of Champions is set in the popular Might & Magic universe.

As you might not have guessed, you're pitted against armies of fantastical beasts, colossal demons, and other time-tested characters in this online card battler.

Your aim - as it is in most card-based battle games - is to meticulously assemble an unbeatable deck using five unique card types (unit, event, hero, spell, and fortune) and use that deck to reduce your opponent's HP to zero.

You can take between 50 and 200 cards onto the battlefield.

While you're competing in furious battles, you can chat with other players and post messages to the game's forums, which are accessible from inside the app.

Other social features in Duel of Champions include online tournaments, online leaderboards, and the ability to create guilds.

If you're looking for an iPad card battler and Magic 2013 doesn't quite cut the mustard for you, check out Might & Magic: Duel of Champions.

It's free, by the way.
