Kemco has officially launched Metro Quester Osaka on iOS and Android, offering a new post-apocalyptic experience to dive into semi-literally across the "city of water". Crafted by manga artist Kazushi Hagiwara, the old-school RPG features a very retro look and plenty of gameplay depth as designed by Hironori Kato, so if you've always been fond of the good ol' 80s, this might just be right up your alley.
In Metro Quester Osaka, you get to explore a futuristic world filled with all kinds of beastly horrors, with 32 characters and eight classes to tinker around with. There's plenty of weapons you can customise to buff up your arsenal as well, and - true to its nostalgic RPG nature - there's also a New Game+ to keep the replayability on point.
If you pre-registered two weeks ago, the wait is over. The Metro Quester series' CRT-style interface and 80s flair is an interesting aesthetic to say the least, and I'd say it definitely sets this RPG apart from other dungeon-crawling adventures within this saturated genre on mobile.

That said, if you're still on the hunt for more role-playing endeavours where you go on epic quests to save the world, why not take a look at our list of the best RPGs on Android to get your fill?
In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Metro Quester Osaka on the App Store or on Google Play. It's a premium purchase at $14.99 a pop.
