Rockstar Games bringing shooter Max Payne 3 to 'mobile devices'
Max goes mobile
[UPDATE: Max Payne 3 is not coming to 'mobile devices', the original Max Payne is.]
Rockstar Games has announced that it's bringing a version of its upcoming shooter Max Payne 3 to "mobile devices", which we presume means both iPhone and Android.
According to Rockstar, the game will boast the same features as its PC counterparts, including HD graphics, high-resolution textures, and the Rockstar Games Social Club - a members-only community for unlocking exclusive game content.
The mobile version of Max Payne 3 will come with support for wired controllers.
Down and dead
Max Payne 3 begins where the second game in the series left off, with Max starting his new life in a private security role.
After gangs strike the family under your protection you have to fight to - once again - clear your name.
The PC version (pictured) will be the first title in the series to feature multiplayer, which will include a levelling system, persistent clans, and multiple strategic load-out options.
We hope at least some of those features make it into the mobile offering.
