The popular card battler Marvel Snap, which recently launched its big Guardians Greatest Hits update, has released yet another patch, though this one is lighter than the last. Despite not being a big expansion this time around, this patch does introduce a brand new character with the introduction of Iron Lad, a powerful addition to your deck.

Marvel Snap, for the unaware, is a fresh face on the mobile card game scene. It sees you do battle utilising a variety of different characters from the Marvel Comics universe, ranging from the movies to the comics and everything in between. These cards all have a cost and a power rating, alongside an ability that can truly change how you play the game.

Aside from the cards in your deck, there’s also the middle of the battlefield where different location cards sit. These locations are part of a rotation that changes every so often, and these have various effects depending on which cards you play upon them. Your goal is to dominate the majority of these locations to win the game.

That’s a pretty quick summary of what can quickly become a very in-depth game once you dig your teeth into the deck-building aspects, and this is going to get even more complex with the addition of Iron Lad. This brand new addition to the game acts as a 4-cost 6-power who, upon revealing, will copy the text of your deck’s top card.

This can be a wildly strong ability, as if your deck’s top card has a super strong ability, Iron Lad can basically duplicate it along with some really strong stats. It’s a simple ability, but one that can be utilised in so many ways it’ll make your head spin.

So, if you’re looking to try out Iron Lad and create some new crazy decks that will dominate your opponents, you can download Marvel Snap for free at either of the links below now!
