Marvel Snap's Animals Assemble season brings anthropomorphic characters to the CCG

Nuverse has just announced a brand new season for the super popular mobile card game, Marvel Snap. Titled Animals Assemble, this one is particularly for pet lovers, because it won’t matter whether you're a cat person, a dog person, or even a shark person! The upcoming decks have everyone covered.

Marvel Snap’s Animals Assemble season aims to bring two fan-favourite things together – the multiverse, and of course, animals. The new update focuses on Marvel’s roster of heroes inspired by the fauna around us. So, expect to see loads of variants on your beloved heroes pop up as quirky creatures.

At the forefront of the update is Marvel’s favourite hitman, Hit-Monkey. On revealing him, you will gain +2 Powers from all other cards played during this turn. The gun-wielding macaque will match quite well with characters like Beast, Hood, Sera, Mysterio, and Falcon.

In addition to this, a new set of Series 5 cards will be going live throughout the month. Nirmod releases today, April 4th and will be followed by Snowguard, Jeff the Baby Land Shark, and Stegron every Tuesday. These cards will appear in the Token Shop and Collector’s Reserves.

If the animals are going to duke it out, then the location has to be perfect too, don’t they? Animals Assemble is sorted on that front as well because two new places have been added. You can play matches in the Avengers Pet Manion with forces all cards to be played in that turn and in the Sandbar, which prohibits cards with abilities from being used.

Each season allows artists to shine with amazing renditions of popular heroes. With this one, characters like Captain America, Thor, Ant-Man, Nick Fury, and Mister Fantastic will be transformed into cute and cuddly, but still deadly variants. You’ll find bundles like Throg, Frog of Thunder and Aww-vengers to name a couple.
