Little Orpheus, The Chinese Room's cinematic platformer, will be updated with Episode Nine soon

The Chinese Room has recently teased that Episode Nine will soon arrive for their popular cinematic platformer, Little Orpheus. The Apple Arcade title has been well-received since it first launched so the news of additional content will be welcomed by fans.

The news was announced in a Tweet from The Chinese Room's account, which can be seen below. They are keeping their cards close to their chest for the moment beyond that, with the announcement merely stating that the new episode is on the way, with no other details provided.

The platformer received its first major update in October last year. This introduced a new game variant called The Lost Recordings, which was effectively a new game plus mode. Here players could collect a series of hidden orbs that were scattered throughout the world to unlock a host of new costumes.

If you're unfamiliar with Little Orpheus, it's a cinematic platformer that's set in 1962, when NASA was attempting to put a man on the moon. Meanwhile, in Serbia, a Soviet Cosmonaut called Comrade Ivan Ivanovich was heading into the centre of the Earth.
